To make sure you can get back into your Oregon Charter Google Account if you ever can’t sign in, adding recovery information is necessary and very helpful. A recovery phone number or email address helps you reset your password if:
- - You forget your password
- - Someone else is using your account
- - You’re locked out of your account for another reason
Start by making sure you are signed into your Google account. Once signed in, you can visit the security section here: https://myaccount.google.com/security
Scroll down to the section that reads Recovery Email -> "Add an email address"
From there, you can click on the section and follow the steps to add a personal backup email just in case you find yourself needing another option to recover your primary Oregon Charter Academy Google account. (You can also add a layer of security and account access recovery by adding the phone number of your mobile device in the field above under Recovery Phone -> "Add a mobile phone number".)
