How it works
To pick up the mail, you must go to your local post office and present a valid ID. You can use the Post Office locator to find your nearest store.
Important Notes
- Not all post offices offer general delivery: It's a good idea to check with the local post office to confirm if they offer this service.
- Mail is held for a limited time: Mail held for general delivery is typically held for a certain period, after which it may be returned to the sender.
- ID is required: You will need a valid state or federal ID to pick up your package.
* We discourage using General Delivery unless you are unable to accept a package at a mailing address or PO Box. As it can be less reliable and less secure than other shipping methods.
