How to turn on "Dictation" for speech to text

Speech to text allows you to verbally type out what you want to say. To set this up, follow the directions below:

1. At the bottom right of your Chromebook's screen, select the time or press Alt + Shift + s.
2. Select Accessibility.
3. Click on "Dictation" (icon looks like microphone ) to turn on Dictation.
4. Tap or select where you want to "type".
5. Click on the microphone icon found on the bottom right of your desktop screen.
6. Talk out loud what you wish to type.

You can turn off "Dictation" by following the same steps above to turn it off. You'll notice it is off when the checkmark to the right of the setting has disappeared.
