Are you attempting to use the ORCA supplied chromebook with public WiFi? This could be at a coffee shop, a hotel or even a friend's house. You may see an error message like "Blocked by the Captive Portal". The captive portal is a login page that certain firewalls use to login to a new WiFi for the first time.
If you are having issues getting to this login page on the chromebook you can try to access the page http://neverssl.com/ in the chrome browser. This allows the chromebook to drop certain securities when loading the internet on this page to allow the firewall login page to appear. If you do not see the login page pop up here then this fix will not work.
NOTE: This requires the chromebook to have been logged into at some point already.
